TRIP TO THE PUTUMAYO JUNGLE (COLOMBIA)
March 12–27, 2026
17 days to cleanse our body and mind, renew our energy, return to our paths full of vitality, and face life with joy and enthusiasm.
A dieta with jungle plants, Yagé, Yopo and Wachuma ceremonies, excursions to jungle rivers and waterfalls, all within an environment surrounded by the wild nature of the rainforest.
Seven days of a cleansing plant dieta guided by the wisdom of Taita Victoriano Piaguaje, an elder of the Siona people, concluding the week’s work with a Yagé ceremony led by him. During the dieta, meals will focus on maintaining the body’s purification through vegetable broths.
Our journey will then continue to the banks of the Caquetá River, toward Yunguillo, a community of the Inga people—an Indigenous reserve—where we will be welcomed to continue learning about the plants. Visiting this village is like stepping back in time, and within minutes you realize how little is needed to live and be happy.
In Yunguillo we will spend three days guided by Taita Gabino Garreta and Doña Fani, sharing Yagé medicine across two nights, along with several natural plant treatments. We will visit the natural beaches of the Caquetá River and the emblematic stone that tells the story of this magical place.
Upon returning to the hostel in Mocoa, we will begin the ceremony of preparing Yagé, an ancient ritual that helps us cultivate awareness and respect for the sacred medicine of Ayahuasca. For three days we will be immersed in the vapors of the Yagé cooking process while sharing medicine music, Yagé stories, teachings, and prayers.
On the last night of the cooking process, we will open the space to share the visionary medicine of Yopo. This medicine is applied in the same way as Rapé, and its effects can be felt within seconds—allowing us to see and feel in a clear and direct way.
After closing the Yagé cooking space, we will open a ceremony to share the Andean medicine of Wachuma, in a daytime ritual that invites us to feel the expansion of energy and the deep connection with the wild nature of the jungle.
After a night of rest, we will drink the Ayahuasca that we ourselves have prepared, in a ceremony beginning after midday so we can journey through both daylight and nighttime.
On the final night of the retreat, we will celebrate together at a restaurant in Mocoa with live music, enjoying and sharing the experience we lived in Colombia.
